Group Study Exchange team visits from Japan April 20, 2010 |

We were lucky enough to meet the Group Study Exchange Rotary team here from Japan; they met with other Rotary groups in the District as well.
They presented us with the incredible, artistic Rotary flags from their home regions and even a beautiful banner.
We hope they had as much fun as we did... it certainly looks that way!

Despite terrible weather Rotarians Adam Meyer and Amy Haney (plus her husband Kevin) put on the rain gear to clean up Miller Creek. Special thanks to Waste Management for providing a dumpster! They hauled away a lot of garbage!

Our own Jen Bertsch hosted the February Fun Foods Night, the World Cafe goes to China. Bingshou Li, a student from China who is in RotarAct at the College of St. Scholastica, was the co-chef and helped create spectacular dishes!

Adopt-a-River Project ~ April 22, 2010 |

Adopt-a-River Project is an excellent program that helps maintain our states river shoreline environments. A group may "adopt" a particular shoreline and commit to cleaning it for at least a two-year program. Duluth~Superior Eco Rotary joined forces with the Duluth Boat Club on the St. Louis Bay side of Park Point on 13th St.
