EcoRotary members Linda Basara along with daughter Brittney Basara, Robin Hayes, Tim Carpenter, Bill Haugen and Amy Haney

joined Joy from The Hartley Nature Center and two other volunteers, Darryl and Allison, to work in the Butterfly Garden.  Volunteers planted a variety of native plants such as columbine, wool grass, early sunflower, fireweed, brown eye susans, smooth blue aster, harebell, cardinal
flower and purple prairie clover. 

The group also did some weeding.  Joy showed us their new water garden which is behind the main building through the fence (the fence is just to keep the deer out). Volunteers can always be used in the garden; Hartley appreciated the help and would love to have us back.
